How to send repeat alerts to your mobile device

The Repeat Alerts feature available in our mobile apps is a great way to make sure that you never miss a critical notification. This feature allows you to repeat notifications sent to your the mobile app up to ten times, at an interval of every one to ten minutes. You can also set a threshold priority level that a notification must meet to be repeated (for example, you can specify that only high priority messages are repeated).

This article provides instructions for how to enable the Repeat Alerts feature in the iOS and Android mobile apps.

  1. In the xMatters app menu, tap More.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Edit Settings.

  8. Tap Interval to set the time between repetitions of the notification alert (one, two, three, five, or ten minutes).
  9. Tap Priority to set the minimum priority level that notifications must meet or exceed for the notification alert to be repeated (high, medium, or low).
