Indy (Jun/Jul) 2020 Release Overview

The Indy release collectively celebrates all the classic arcade games inspired by the Indianapolis 500. No game truly captures the spirit of an Indy race quite like Indy 800 though, with 8 players gathered around a massive 16 square foot, top-down view cabinet, complete with 2 steering wheels and 4 pedals per side — plus overhead mirrors so spectators can watch and cheer on the race!

Hogan's Alley (Feb/Mar) 2020 Release Overview

Look out, cardboard cut-out gangsters! The safety's off on this light gun, and I'm ready to take you out of the lineup! Yes, we're celebrating this release with the shoot-don't-shoot classic, Hogan's Alley. In case you were wondering, Hogan's Alley was once a shooting range for the Special Police at Camp Perry, and it's now a small simulated city - laundromat, post-office, bar, and all - at the FBI training academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Galaga (Oct/Nov) 2019 Release Overview

Fighter captured? No problem! With this release, you can easily create workflows to get your starship out from that boss' tractor beam and acquire the dual-fighter capabilities you need to take down the forces threatening humankind! We're celebrating this release with Galaga, one of the greatest arcade games of all time, applauded for its gameplay, innovation, and addictive nature.

Galaga (Oct/Nov) 2019 Release Overview

Frogger (Jul/Aug) 2019 Release Overview

As far as video games go, they don't get more iconic than the beloved 1981 Konami arcade game, Frogger! Known in its day as the arcade game with the most ways to die, Frogger was one of the first arcade games to use two CPUs, and even starred in its own episode of Seinfeld. And, its latest claim to fame is being celebrated as an xMatters release!

Frogger (Jul/Aug) 2019 Release Overview

Enduro (Apr/May) 2019 Release Overview

We're celebrating this release with Atari's racing video game Enduro, where players race day and night, avoiding other cars and inclement weather (look out for that fog!). It's taken the same type of endurance to bring you all the great new features, enhancements, and multiple sneak peeks that we've packed into this release!

Enduro (Apr/May) 2019 Release Overview

Defender (Jan/Feb) 2019 Release Overview

Landers, mutants, swarmers, baiters, bombers, or pods - whatever the  enemy  incident, the Defender release of xMatters On-Demand will help you stay laser-focused on protecting your astronauts from aliens and keeping the planet alive (or the equally noble goal of keeping your digital services up and running). Does anyone else remember the pure awesomeness of this classic horizontal-scrolling shooter game?

Defender (Jan/Feb) 2019 Release Overview

Centipede (Oct/Nov) 2018 Release Overview

Centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas... this arcade game is so packed with creepy-crawlies, it's an excellent choice for a Halloween-season release! Did you know that Centipede was one of the first arcade games that had a significant female following? Not only that, Dona Bailey, one of the few female game programmers in the industry back in the day, is noted for her contribution to the game's code base!

Centipede (Oct/Nov) 2018 Release Overview

Breakout (Aug/Sept) 2018 Release Overview

What do you get when you combine Chuck E. Cheese's, Pong, and the co-founders of Apple? The sweet, sweet video arcade game Breakout, that's what! A big shout out to Nolan Bushnell, The Woz, Steve Jobs, and Steve Bristow for being the (big) brains behind this Pong-inspired classic, which we've chosen to celebrate with our latest quarterly release. Got a minute to reminisce? Check out this fun little Google Easter egg...

Breakout (Aug/Sept) 2018 Release Overview

Asteroids (Apr/May) 2018 Release Overview

This release marks the first in our new classic arcade game naming theme. We're starting at "A" and moving our way through the alphabet. And, we figured there was no better way to kick off the fun with than Asteroids, Atari's best selling arcade game of all time! Prepare for hyperspace, because this release is ready to take down crafty UFOs and blast some space rocks to smithereens!

Asteroids (Apr/May) 2018 Release Overview

Knight (Jan/Feb) 2018 Release Overview

For the last two years we've been coordinating our quarterly product releases with big movie releases - some great, some... less so. It seems only fitting that we celebrate our last movie-themed release with Star Wars: The Last Jedi. You can (almost) never go wrong with Star Wars, and we've channeled the Force to bring you a release that's packed with enhancements to take your Jedi Knight mastery (AKA incident management processes) to the next level.

Knight (Jan/Feb) 2018 Release Overview

Replicant (Oct/Nov) 2017 Release Overview

We're celebrating this release with a sequel: Blade Runner 2049. Set thirty years after the original movie, times have changed and there's a new blade runner in town... and he's about to unearth a secret that will set him on a mission to find a former blade runner who's been missing for decades. Of course, in a world of replicants, nothing is what it seems. However conditions change, whatever unexpected events occur, and whoever you need to track down, this release has got you covered.

Replicant (Oct/Nov) 2017 Release Overview

Galaxity (June/July) 2017 Release Overview

We're celebrating this release with another action-packed sci-fi flick: Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. In this one, it's a race against time to save the planet - and the universe - from a dark force that threatens its peaceful existence. If you think about it, that's pretty much like resolving a giant major incident! Whatever the size of your major incidents, this release has you covered.

Galaxity (June/July) 2017 Release Overview

Ghost (Mar/Apr) 2017 Release Overview

We're celebrating this release with inspiration from Ghost in the Shell, where cyborgs in the post-cyberpunk future thwart cyber-criminals and hackers. Although we may not yet have the technology to integrate cybernetic parts into the human brain, our new Integration Directory can streamline the work required to integrate your tools with pre-built integrations that are easy to find, configure, and manage.

Ghost (Mar/Apr) 2017 Release Overview

Rogue (Dec) 2016 Release Overview

We're celebrating this release with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story... but instead of banding together to steal the plans for the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction, we're equipping you with the tools you need to have better command of your major incident processes. We've also refined many other product areas, and continue to add support for end users managing day-to-day activities from mobile devices.

Rogue (Dec) 2016 Release Overview

Task Force X (Sept) 2016 Release Overview

We're celebrating this quarterly release with the baddest comic characters yet: the Suicide Squad. These are the guys who get called in when a job needs to get done and superheroes just aren't the right fit. We're partial to names with an 'X' in them, so we'll go with their code-name, 'Task Force X' (and call it 'TFX' for short).

Task Force X (Sept) 2016 Release Overview

Wolverine (June) 2016 Release Overview

Our superhuman team of xPerts has evolved a beast of an update for you this time, with an uncanny focus on new usability powers and other enhancements. Fittingly, we've named this release Wolverine as a shout-out to the coolest xPerts ever: X-Men.

Blue Steel (March) 2016 Release Overview

It's time for another quarterly update focused on making you and your teams look ridiculously good, and fittingly we named the release Blue Steel (with a fun competition to boot).

Bond (Fall) 2015 Release Overview

Here we are again with another quarter's work to provide your teams with the tools required to intelligently communicate and to integrate to just about anything. We not only have feature announcements in this installment, but also some information about a few other changes we've made to how we run our service.
