xMatters is pleased to announce an update to our integration with Nagios.

Nagios is an open source monitoring system used to monitor of mission-critical infrastructure components – including applications, services, operating systems, network protocols, systems metrics, and network infrastructure.

Version 2 of our integration has been updated to use the xMatters On-Demand REST API, this removes any dependencies on your mail servers to ensure notifications are sent to the right people at the right time in the event that Nagios detects any issues in your infrastructure.
