How can I reduce the number of errors caused by User email responses?

xMatters can sometimes have trouble parsing the correct response choice from a User's email response; how can I help reduce this occurrence?

Email response validation can behave unexpectedly when the response is inserted in the body of an email.

To help address this, the email response requirements are changing to allow a narrower range of responses. All responses must now be in the email subject line. The new requirement is that the email subject contains "%Response Key% %Response Choice%" and nothing else. For example, "RESPONSE Accept".

The default email response message will now read as follows:

To respond, reply and replace the subject line with the word %Response Key%.

Note that some node components may need to have their text reworded; on the Admin tab, under Nodes and Device Engines > Node Components > Details.

Email Response Message: To respond, reply and replace the subject line with the word %Response Key%,
