What does <xMHOME> mean?

<xMHOME> is used throughout this knowledge base and the xMatters documentation to refer to the installation folder of the xMatters application.

  • On a default Windows installation, <xMHOME> would refer to C:\Program Files\xMatters\
  • On a default Unix installation, <xMHOME> would refer to /opt/xmatters/

For example, on a default Windows installation, C:\Program Files\xMatters\webserver\webapps\axis2\WEB-INF\logs is the location of the web services log files directory. To simplify this path, and account for installations that may use a different installation folder, the documentation would refer to this folder as <xMHOME>\webserver\webapps\axis2\WEB-INF\logs

Integration agent installation folder

Note that <IAHOME> is used in a similar manner to refer to the installation folder for the integration agent.
