To help keep our systems humming along, we need to perform some proactive maintenance on our existing infrastructure.
What are we doing?
This work is primarily preventative maintenance on our database software to apply the latest features and security patches. We need to make sure we stay up-to-date with the current technologies to help keep our service robust and healthy.
When are we doing it?
We're going to begin these changes in early May, starting with customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, before moving on to clients in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, and then finishing up with everyone in North America (NA). We'll be applying the updates over a few days, working between 9am and 5pm Pacific.
Here are the currently planned windows for this maintenance:
Region | Days | Time |
APAC | May 7-9 | 2am-10am AEST |
EMEA | May 7-9 | 5pm-1am GMT |
NA | May 13-16 May 20-23 May 27-30 |
9am-5pm Pacific |
Some customers may require updates outside of these scheduled times, and CSMs will be reaching out to them directly to confirm the best time to apply these changes.
How will this affect you?
At some point during the maintenance window, you will experience a brief — maximum of 2 minutes — downtime in the xMatters service. This will only occur once per customer instance, and you can use the xMatters service throughout the remainder of the maintenance window without interruption.
How do you get help?
If you have any questions about this maintenance, use our online form to submit a request to xMatters Client Assistance.
