Is it possible to change how a voice message is acknowledged?

Question 

Can "please press any number to hear your message" be replaced with a custom message? Can this message be skipped or removed?

Answer

This message is hard-coded into xMatters, and there is no way to change or modify it. Once the message is played, xMatters attempts to determine it has reached a live person or an automated message.  Pressing a number confirms a live person.
