We're using an older xMatters instance where users who have the Company Supervisor role aren't able to manage workflows. In newer instances, this role is able to see and manage workflows. Why haven't the permissions in our instance been updated?
Long-standing xMatters instances
To help ensure stability and avoid accidentally overwriting any customizations you might have already made to your roles, our product releases and updates don't include any changes to the default roles, functions, or permissions. This means that newer instances might have different default roles than you see in your long-running instance.
If you want to make any changes to your roles and functions, contact your account manager or our Support team to discuss the best way to do this for your instance.
