Should load quickly, with just the most recent ~20 items, or past 3-6 hours, things that would be current / active. If more history is needed we could click "load more" or it could make a second AJAX call to load additional items, but in the heat of the moment of an active outage, we need the top current items to pop instantly, not wait for tons of data...

Hi Stuart, I'm surprised you are having performance issues with recent alerts set to past 6 hours! Are the performance issues with the recent alerts report or the the recent alerts dashboard widgets? Do you have the same performance issues with the alerts report set to past 24 hours? Please let me know and I'll ask the devs to take a look at what might be slowing this down for you.
Cheers,
Sean
I do not see what it is "set to" - it initially loads with whatever scope of data (205 items), which if I scroll down to 205 looks like about 30 days worth (Feb 2, today is Mar 3).
The "Options" drop-down only lists ways to filter completed, system, show timestamps, I dn not see a way to limit the scope to just the past 6 hours.
ok I see the new "Alerts" view has the 24h, 7d, 30d options on it, the Recent Alerts did not - I'll look into that view more.
