Hi Community....complete newb to xMatters here. We have a Lambda function in AWS that we'd like to get xMatters notifications on when it encounters an issue. We have the SNS topic setup, xMatters subscribed to it, but when we post a message to the topic via the AWS Console no notification is sent via xMatters. Clearly I'm missing something here. My assumption is that the message contents didn't fit the format of CloudWatch alerts??
Any insight is greatly appreciated. thanks, Brad

Afternoon Travis and thanks for the awesome, detailed response! I don't have access to the areas of xMatters that you're referring to and the admin that does isn't available today. I'll ping him on Monday and update this post.

Hi again Travis - I was right...the CloudWatch payload wasn't in the correct format. The admin was actually online when I emailed him your response and he was able to force a correct payload which then trigger xMatters to send the notifications. thanks again!
