we already have ServiceNow integration with xMatters. our Business team looking to auto generate the Alert in xMatters base on some conditions on incidents (just like Engage with xMatters, but with out manual intervene). The OOB Incident Alert only filter on priority which is very basic.
what we are looking at is to have BR see if condition meet trigger event Engage with xMatters or similar solution.
If any one had similar situation any guidance will be helpful.

Hi there Virendra, Is the only issue with the standard Incident Alert trigger that it's a little basic and you want a more complex trigger condition?
I'd stick with the Incident Alert trigger if you can. It's very common for people to modify the script include to make it fit into their particular use case. The incident script include has a very well commented function that handles qualifying if the business rule should run when an incident is created or updated, that's where I'd recommend making changes.
Adam : Thanks for replay are you pointing OOB incident Alert ? or any background BR or event. just give you prospect we have around 5K+ P4 incidents weekly and not all team want to get notify via xmatters. In this particular instance we have monitoring team want to get notify when incident is created for alert.
