Hello,
Is there a way to change an event's priority in a Flow? I'm attempting to create a Flow in which the resulting event's priority changes based on the input and I'd prefer to not have to create multiple forms to accomplish this.
Thanks,
Hallie

On a related note, i'll add that we are also interested in how we can use Flow to define the expirationInMinutes and responseOptions.
The thought is, we know how to do this in the web UI, and know we can use the integration builder to define this information, so there should be a way to do it through Flow. We just haven't figured out how to do that.
Hi Sean/Hallie,
At this point in time it does not look like those properties are exposed to Flow Designer so you can't exactly set them using the Create Event step. You MIGHT be able to create a custom step to do it if you look at the IB way of things and script it in there... I'll look into an enhancement request to add those as exposed fields during the Create Event step but I feel if we look at the Custom Step option there may be a way to set something up there.
Hi Francois,
It seems like the event properties aren't exposed in a custom step. We've tried updating event.priority (per Common Properties on https://help.xmatters.com/ondemand/xmodwelcome/flowdesigner/flow-triggers.htm) and trigger.priority (ala IB script) with no success; both fail with a "ReferenceError: <object name> is not defined" error.
Thanks for looking into it,
Hallie
Thanks Doug. We'll be looking forward for those additions.

Are there any news about it?
I try to set the priority of an event according to values in an email.
Is there any other way? Or just we cannot set the even priority, yet?
It is dev-complete as of Friday. We are evaluating if we can turn it on once it is deployed, or if it will need to be in the Hogan's Alley release, which hits prod Mar 3rd.
Hi Doug,
Can you please advise if the feature to enable event priority changes via Flow Designer has been deployed, and how to use it?
Many thanks.
Hi Marcos,
We ran into an issue with that feature deploying on Thursday. The team is working on it and will try again next week, likely Monday or Thursday.
Not only will we expose the handling settings (which includes Priority) we’ll also support the Sender Overrides settings.
The UI that I posted above is still correct,
Doug
Hi All,
We haven't forgotten about you... we've done a few canary deployments of this feature and ran into edge cases that were breaking event creation. We are working on this, and we'll update this thread once we've gotten everything sorted.
Doug
Still working on this one... there is a candidate release on Thursday that we'll see how it goes. After deployment we'll look at selectively turning it on. We'll reach out to those in this thread first.
After rolling out to non-production environments 2 weeks ago, we are now rolling this out to production environments today. You should see the new options available in the Create Event step. Thank you all for your feedback.
