Hey all,
Newest question from our team: I know that we can currently set the handling priority via trigger.priority in a transform script and we are looking to do the same thing for the expire time. Is there a way to update the Expiration and other handling elements via the transform script?

Hi Chris,
The API currently doesn't expose the handling options other than the priority one. There's an open enhancement request to expose the other options via the API and it looks like that's getting some traction. I'll let product management chime in with any more details on timing.
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Chris,
We’re actively working on building out more settings you can configure for the trigger, including response counts and the options in the form’s handling section (including the expiration).
I’d love to get some feedback about what enhancements you’d like to see on the trigger object, or any other suggestions you have for the API. Can I connect with you over a phone call?
Thanks,
Sandra
Absolutely Sandra,
I'd be happy to have that conversation. Rennie Chen is our CSM and can set up some time for us to chat.
I'm looking to do this same functionality, if there is any update on this becoming a feature?
Thanks!

Hey Christian,
Yep, the XM API has been updated with most (all?) of the items on the form layout, see here: https://help.xmatters.com/xmapi/index.html#trigger-an-event.
Specifically the expirationInMinutes parameter.
Note that we're still working on adding these to the flow designer create xMatters event step, but you will have access to them using the underlying XM API documented above.
Happy Tuesday!
We are also working on expanding our Flow Designer Create Event step to allow you to set the value there. See screenshot in this thread: https://support.xmatters.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360055317791
Awesome! Thanks for the info, looking forward to seeing this in the Flow Designer.
