Alert Via Email

Is it possible to create an incident by just sending a mail to configured email id. 

 

Basic need : I have a requirement where i need to alert the support person on some criteria. I have only one option to integration on the system is sending mail.

 

Kindly help me to understand the xmatters incident logging from email.
