I have tested the integration of xmatters with prometheus alerts and events are getting displayed in xmatters.
Able to create the incident manually in xmatters for all the events or alerts from prometheus. Is there anyway we can automate the xmatters incident creation based on the alert from prometheus.

If so automated alerts are part of it and can be setup noted under Prometheus Set up.
"Edit any alert rules (referenced in the file(s) defined in the rule_files section of the prometheus.yml file) to include a priority annotation, or to include any additional fields required for processing. '
Let us know if you've done this and still aren't seeing alerts trigger into xMatters.

Tacking on to Daniel's answer, but all you have to do it crack open the Flow Designer canvas and drag in the Initiate Incident step. Here, I've attached it to the new "Create Incident" response:
Just note, that for now, you can only have one "Initiate Incident" step on the canvas.
