We occasionally get questions from security-conscious customers about what sort of technical security features xMatters supports. In accordance with industry standards and recognized best practices, xMatters supports the following email technical and spam controls:

• SPF with hard-fail mechanisms, to prevent email spoofing.
• DKIM authentication (2048-bit signing), to verify the origin of email.
• DMARC validation, to detect and prevent email spoofing; combined with SPF and DKIM with the reject policy set.
