Using single-sign-on authentication with the xMatters mobile apps

xMatters On-Demand supports two options for configuring single-sign-on (SSO) between your organization's user accounts and xMatters: LDAP and SAML. Of the two options, SSO with SAML is the most commonly used protocol and the de facto industry standard.

To help us meet customer needs via the most widely used technology, the mobile apps currently support SSO via SAML only. SSO in xMatters is primarily used for authentication and the mobile app relies on your existing SAML configuration.

When logging in to the xMatters mobile app with SSO, always use the SSO login screen. Do not click the login to xMatters link at the bottom of the login page.
