Answer
Here is a list of possible messages and what their meanings are. The messages themselves come from the downstream voice provider, so they may change.
Response Code | Message |
180 | Ringing |
183 | Session Progress |
404 | Resource Not Found |
405 | Method Not Allowed |
407 | Proxy Authentication Required |
408 | Request Timeout |
409 | Conflict - the call is already in processing |
420 | Bad Extension |
421 | Extension Required |
480 | Temporarily Unavailable |
486 | Busy Here |
487 | Request Terminated (Call has completed/hung up) |
491 | Request Pending |
500 | Server Internal Error |
504 | Server Time-out |
600 | Busy Everywhere |
603 | Decline |
Messages can accompany these codes to help narrow down the nature of the problem. Normally we don't expect to see these but, if you do, you should involve our Customer Support team to verify any erroneous behaviors.
