EPIC command generates an "Access is denied" error

Problem

When trying to use the epic.bat file via command line, the following "Access is denied" error message is displayed:

:\APSScript\EPIC-Xmatter>cmd.exe /C "D:\APSScripts\EPIC-Xmatter\epic-client-5.5.124\bin\epic.bat file Output\NewFilename.zip"
Access is denied.
:\APSScripts\EPIC-Xmatter>

Environment

All versions of xMatters, EPIC client 

Resolution 

Because the command line above includes a file output location, you need to ensure that the the user running the command has write privileges.

Cause

The user running the EPIC command does not have sufficient permissions to create and update the output file.
