Using external conference bridges in Flow Designer

Question

I want to automate a notification for a critical issue and leverage an external conference bridge. Can I add an external conference bridge to the Create Event step in Flow Designer?

Answer

You cannot directly inject external conference bridge details into the Create Alert step as selectable properties in Flow Designer in the same way you can with xMatters–hosted (internal) bridges. However, there are supported ways to automate the use of external bridges in your flows and notifications.

To use a conference bridge in a fully automated Create Alert step, you must still base that step on a form that uses an xMatters–hosted conference bridge. External conference bridges (such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or other third‑party bridges) are not currently exposed as referenceable Create Alert properties in Flow Designer.
