Text disappearing when filling in fields in a message form

I'm trying to type text into a message form field (for example, the email or SMS message body), but the text is automatically being deleted. Why is this happening?

Are you using a grammar checker plugin in your browser? Sometimes, these plugins can cause text to be deleted. Try disabling the plugin and retyping the text.
