To help make sure notifications are reaching the people that need to receive them, we're making some enhancements and updates to our SMS delivery systems in the US.
What are we doing?
We're updating our primary United States SMS short code provider to take advantage of some new and improved delivery methods and technologies.
When are we doing it?
We're planning to begin making these changes this week (November 4-8, 2024).
How will this affect you?
During the maintenance window, customers in the United States may notice more SMS messages coming from our secondary short code (66936) instead of our primary short code (87961).
There will be no interruption in SMS service, and notifications and responses will continue to be processed.
Once all of the US carriers update their internal registration, you should see a return to normal traffic from our primary short code.
