Post to a Slack Channel

I have Slack integrated.  I have triggers of High, Medium and Low.  I have a "Post to channel" with connectors to the triggers.  I'm not clear how the incident information gets passed to Slack.

  • That's helpful.  Thank you.  I'm struggling to figure out how this all fits together.  My proposed work flow is

    Pingdom detects a problem
    Email, push notification to our team
    Incident opened
    Statuspage updated with the incident so our customers know
    Slack channel notified so our team can collaborate

    I'll study your example.  I may be back with additional questions.
