Setting up On-Call Shifts

Hello,
I need assistance setting up our on-call schedule. Here’s the scenario:

We have 6 members on our team plus a manager.

Every week there is a primary on-call person and a backup. It changes every Sunday. The manager is always at the end, every week.

Here’s what it should look like:
Week 1
Primary: Person A
Backup: Person B
Manager

Week 2
Primary: Person B
Backup: Person C
Manager

Week 3:
Primary: Person C
Backup: Person D
Manager

Week 4:
Primary: Person D
Backup: Person E
Manager

Week 5:
Primary: Person E
Backup: Person A
Manager

And so on…the backup person always becomes primary the following week. Would I need to create 5 different shifts?

  • Thanks Mike! The screen shots are great! This is very close to how I initially set it up, but I wasn't sure if there was another way. I was trying to avoid the 'p_user 3' from showing on the list of who's on-call, but this works, it will be just a matter of explaining to others that the escalation period after the manager is hugely delayed. Thanks again.
