Hi all, we are currently looking to come up with an approach to control how we make changes to comms plans. we want to ensure there is controls in place to ensure all changes go through non-prod first and are tested adequately before being released into prod.
Challenges we have is how to migrate the plans, forms, properties, integrated properties and message notification content between environemnts. Export / Import doesnt include integrated properties and messes up the notification message content.

I think there are definitely some improvements we can make to the product here. Especially with the new integration builder where you are actually playing with code that could do unexpected things. We have on the roadmap several items that will help reduce the things that need to be configured when you first import a comm plan, and I'm wondering if we can incorporate some of your items there. I'll poke the Product Managers and see what we can do.
I'll open a ticket about the integrated properties. I think those should be included.
As for the notification message content, can you be more specific? What things does it mess up when you export/import? Do you have an example? Comm plan you can share? (If you'd rather email me that is fine tdepuy at xmatters.com).
