  Our on-premise solution can also support up to 10MB of attachments, but there are a couple of caveats:

  • For most deployments, attachments are only available via the Scenario Attachment feature, which is part of the Advanced Messaging solution. Scenarios can handle up to 10MB of attachments, but each attachment must be 1MB or less. (This is indicated within the product itself, on the Scenario Attachments screen.)
  • The usual Quick Messaging or Custom Messaging Panels do not support attachments.
  • Some integrations may be able to incorporate email attachments into messages sent by xMatters. In these cases, the maximum number and size of attachments would be limited by the email system, and not xMatters or the integration.

  Oops. I was a little bit off there. The limit for scenarios is actually 5 attachments, maximum of 1MB per attachment (5MB total).
