Weekly report of alarms needed

Not Yet Reviewed

Dear Community,

I'm searching for a possiblity to create a weekly report, which alarms were sent between 6 p.m and 8 a.m.
I searched the "Products and Docs" and also the Community but didn't find an answer.

How can I get a List (in Excel if possible) which shows me all past alerts which were created in a week between 6 p.m and 8 a.m ?

Thank you

  • Issue, why I cannot use the "Reports - All Notifications" Search -> I need the Event-Details, not only the Event-ID.

  • Hi Jali,
Yea, we don't have a great way to do this right now. You can set up a search in the Reports tab, but then you have to change the date for each day. But you can get the properties exported. In the search box, start typing the name of a property and the popup will show you the properties that match your typing. Then make sure you have "Show All" selected. Do this for a few more properties and when you export to excel, those properties will be exported as columns. See here: https://img42.com/qQjsv
Otherwise, you can check out the GET events and GET notifications API calls that have the same information. Probably GET events is a good place to start. Note that we are working on retooling our REST API and the kind of stuff you are looking for should be in there.

    I hope that helps.
    Happy Monday,

  • Jali,

Have you tried going directly to the events report in the web UI whenever you need this information?

  • Hi Lain,
this would be to much manual work - because we need the information for every alarm as a general weekly report. To go in every event detail report is too complex.

  • We now use the following solution:
With every event, an email is send to a special mailbox.
After that every week we copy the subject and submitting dates from the mailbox to excel. In this way we get the most inportant information with the less manual work as possible.
