Hi Suresh. CloudWatch isn't something we've built an integration to yet, but we could look at getting it on the roadmap. I'm not familiar with the integration methods available, but if you can find a way to have it make a REST call then we can walk you through an integration. Have you started looking at potential hooks?
For $20 a month I can get this via a Zapier service; https://zapier.com/zapbook/amazon-cloudwatch/xmatters/
but I already pay for CloudWatch and for XMatters, so I would rather not.
So apparently there is a wider unmet need.
+1 for this integration!
Hi there,
The xMatters Zapier connector is no longer required since we launched our integration builder. The integration builder was designed to solve this very problem. The integration platform as a whole is currently a major focus for us and there are new capabilities being added all the time.
xMatters inbound integrations can accept webhooks from Cloudwatch (or any other product) and parse / transform the webhook payload in order to create xMatters notification events.
xMatters outbound integrations can make web service calls to the Cloudwatch API and update Cloudwatch as events are created, notifications are delivered or responses are submitted.
Our docs team have created some great resources on help.xmatters.com that will get you started. Please let me know if you have any questions about how to use xMatters to add communication capabilities to Cloudwatch or any other products or services you may be using.

Hey guys,
I wrote up an article on how you can build this out yourself. Check it out here and drop some feedback if you guys like it or if there is something that you needed to tweak.
Happy Monday!
