is it possible to disable user accounts for login , add devices to those users so notifications can work, even though logins wont work.
and then manage such accounts by supervisors rather than users managing themselves..

I discussed this with another xPert here and he advised changing the users' role to "No Access User". If you actually disable users, they won't be able to receive notifications, so switching role permissions is something to consider instead. As you intimate, a supervisor with the correct permissions would have to manage the users' devices. One thing to consider is that No Access Users cannot use the xMatters mobile app (because they don't have login credentials). So, in that case the middle ground would be the "Read Only User" role which has login privileges, but cannot access, edit, or change anything in the UI (but can still access the mobile app because they have login rights).
Thanks Cameron. Another question on this. will the supervisor be notified automatically by xmatters when the user password expiration date is near or expired..
Per another xPert: "No one is ever notified on a password expiration. If the password expires, a user will login and it will take them to the change password page. This then prompts the user to put in their old password and then a new password 2 times (with the password criteria that the client has preconfigured)."
