i requested for a certificate for ssl login from symantec. i recieved only 1 cert. it is missing intermediate and root certs.
when i try to import the given cert i get below error.
any idea how to resolve this..
keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Failed to establish chain from reply

Hey John, I'm thinking it might be best to open a ticket for this one. Support can make sure you've got the right cert and can help you through those errors better.
Got this fixed
The problem was that earlier, I had 2 version of java on my system.
I had created the CSR file using 1.8 version of java and then got the cert from Symantec.
Then alarmpoint was trying to read it which was of 1.7 version and it was unable to read it due to being lower version than 1.8
I created a new CSR file with 1.7 version and then got the cert again from Symantec
This time it worked fine..
