Roaster in Alarmpoint

Hi,

I have updated the oncall roaster in alarmpoint but when the incident assigned in a Remedy Group, xMatters triggers SMS for all engineers those who are in the group.

I would like to configure to notify only on call engineers.

can anyone guide me please.

  • Hey Roshni,
    Do you have a 24x7 coverage in there? If you have overlapping coverages, xMatters will notify all current coverages, so a 24x7 would always be on-call. You also mention that an SMS was sent to all the engineers in the group, did other engineers get an email as well? You might also check out the "Who's On Duty" which will tell you who will be notified for a particular timeframe. If I remember correctly, it should show the team and coverage for why that user was notified.
