We have two integration agents installed and want to incorporate some type of failover between them. I guess it is not possible to use a load balanced address in the configuration so I am looking for alternatives.

I don't recall this being available on the OMi side, and it sounds like that is what you have found as well. If that is the case, you'll need to use a third party solution as a fronting web server. I know F5 load balancers can do this, I think apache can do this as well. Have you played with either of those?

Since version 2.0 of OMi integration uses web services to call IA, you can use load balanced IP addresses behind F5 or your preferred load balancer. We have this approach worked for some clients.
