  • Could you provide us with a little more detail about your environment... specifically are you using a fronting web server? The different between "with port" and "without port" is usually the different between hitting our internal web server (Jetty) or your fronting server (Apache or IIS). So product and version would be good.

Also, there isn't much to go on above with respect to what the actual differences are... could you provide examples of with and without port?

  • yes, the complete problem is I try to connect Maximo between xMatters 5.1 with the web server (the xmatters installation is with Apache). in the past version 4.1 for this integration only need this URL http://<xmatters_server>:8888/api/services/xmatters-4.1.10. in this versions all URL´S (add user, delete user, edit user) used the same url, but in the xMatters 5.1, I connected with SOAPUI to http://<xmatters_server>:8888/api/services/AlarmPointWebService?wsdl and the url´s for example add user is http://<xmatters_server>/api/services/AlarmPointWebService.AlarmPointWebServiceHttpSoap11Endpoint/. for me the problem is the port in the URL but I don't understand appear different

  • Hey Alberto, the Accessing web services page has some details on which wsdl url to use. In general, you will want to go with the latest one as we keep adding and improving functionality.
So, to answer your question, the different/new url is to make sure you are using the latest and greatest.
