Why do I receive a "403 Forbidden" message when I try to access xMatters from some countries?

Answer:
In compliance with OFAC's sanctions regulations (Office Of Foreign Access Control) determined by the US Department of the Treasury, xMatters blocks access to business and users based in countries under comprehensive embargo. The determination to block traffic from embargoed countries was made based on current industry best practices and legal requirements.
Embargoed countries
If you are attempting to access xMatters from the following countries you will receive a 403 forbidden message.
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Crimea region of Ukraine
Outside of the comprehensive embargo, certain individuals or entities may be subject to restrictions based on Specially Designated Nationals, Blocked Persons, Foreign Sanctions Evaders, and Sectoral Sanctions Identifications lists.
