We currently run on SQL2008 Database but our Dba's want to migrate the DB over to a new instance running SQL2014. Is this OK and are there any particular migration steps we need to care of.

We don't support SQLServer 2014; SQLServer 2012 is the newest version we support. You can find the platforms here: xMatters 5.x
Are there any plans to add support for SQL 2014?
We do not have plans for SQL 2014. We are focusing our efforts on providing new feature sets in the on demand product line. It is a tradeoff, but the majority of our customer base was requesting easier to deploy and maintain products and we have delivered: xMatters Cloud Solutions. We are continuing to support the on-premises software product while customers migrate to the new technology and we are happy to assist with that effort.
